Rental Agreement Acquisition

Users residing in Singapore can use issued rental agreements as proof of address for cross-border remittances. For application and inquiry, visit the Housing and Development Board (HDB) official website: www.hdb.gov.sg. The rental agreement must clearly show your name, residential address, proof of address date, issuing institution name, and be issued within the last six months, with a clear photo. Missing essential details will result in review failure.

Steps to obtain a rental agreement:

1. Screenshot page 2 of your visa (as shown below) and send it to your landlord. Ensure the Fin No is included; ask your agent for it if missing, and check personal information. After sending, send the HDB approval letter from the landlord to your agent, who will register the address in the MOM labor department system. If registration succeeds, it’s valid; if not, review may fail.
2. Log in to HDB   (www.hdb.gov.sg). After logging in, you can communicate with your landlord, who will log in to obtain the rental agreement and send it to you.

Download or screenshot the rental agreement and save it to your phone album. Go to the PandaRemit account review page, upload the photo, and submit for review.

Finally, ensure your rental agreement includes name, residential address, proof of address date, and issuing institution name. This is crucial for review approval!
